NORMAN Ecotoxicology Database — Lowest PNECs
Instructions for downloading and importing CSV files into Excel

1. Click the “Export to CSV” button
2. Wait a few seconds while the file is generated on the server
3. Once the download button appears (e.g. ecotox_YYYY-MM-DD-HHMMSS.csv), click it
4. The file will be saved to your computer (usually in the Downloads folder)
   

You have two options:

1. Locate the downloaded file
2. Double-click it
3. It will open in Microsoft Excel

👉 Note: Sometimes the data may not be properly split into columns

1. Open Microsoft Excel
2. Go to:
   • File → Open, or
   • Data → From Text/CSV
     
3. Select your CSV file
   • 
4. In the preview window, set:
   • Delimiter: usually ; or ,
   • Make sure the data is correctly split into columns
     
5. Click Load
   • 

• If all data appears in one column → change the delimiter
• If characters look incorrect → try encoding UTF-8
