NORMAN WORKSHOPS

Four workshops have been organised by NORMAN during the course of the project. You can find out more about these workshops, including the presentations and the reports, by following the links below.
We hope that, with these events, we have been able to improve the EU-wide exchange of information on emerging pollutants among scientists, practitioners and decision-makers responsible for the risk assessment and prioritisation of environmental pollutants.



THE NEXT WORKSHOP Top

The NORMAN network intends to continue these activities as a permanent, self-sustaining network with the organisation of workshops and expert group meetings on topics of priority interest. The programme of activities for 2009 is in preparation and the title of the next NORMAN workshop will be announced on this page as soon as the programme is approved.

    As a follow-up of the workshop "New tools for bio-monitoring of emerging pollutants" (Amsterdam, 29-30 October 2007), which was mainly addressed to the scientific community and recent research results in this field, this fourth workshop will address both science and policy communities and their challenges in the risk assessment of emerging pollutants.

    The workshop will be organised by {$lien3} – Agricultural and Environmental Engineering Research Institute – and it will take place in Lyon, France on 17-18 March 2008.
