The NORMAN network will continue these activities as a permanent, self-sustaining network
with the organisation of workshops, working groups and expert group meetings on topics of priority interest.

Expert Group meetings are intended as 2–3 day highly-focused meetings with participation
limited to invited leading experts in the field.
The results and conclusions of each Expert Group meeting will lead to a Position Paper
summarising the position of the NORMAN experts on the topic (dissemination via the web).

will be organised in 2009 as part of the Joint Programme of Activities.

of recommendations for priority research areas to be included
under the 7th Framework Programme of DG Research for 2010 and beyond.
The NORMAN network intends to continue these activities as a permanent,

and the title of the next NORMAN workshop will be announced on this page as soon
as the programme is approved.
