On 10 June in Stresa, Italy, NORMAN signed an important collaboration agreement with the European Commission JRC, which marks an important milestone in the life of the NORMAN network. This collaboration agreement will allow more effective and close collaboration with JRC and will strengthen even further the role of NORMAN in the organisation of EU-wide activities in the field of emerging pollutants. NORMAN operates via the organisation of a number of activities, including expert group meetings, workshops, databases and methods validation exercises. The activities of the Association are planned and organised each year on the basis of an Annual Programme of Activities. The Annual Programme of Activities is defined by the Steering Committee in consultation with the members of the Association (General Assembly) who are invited to present their proposals and comments, in accordance with the procedure defined in the Statutes. to help the network gather information in the different countries about ongoing initiatives
on emerging substances. Please
